Dark Souls: More progress on my Lord’s Blade Ciaran cosplay. I’ve got the templates for the body armor done! I’ll probably finish up the leggings and such later on… [need more paper…] …But I’m worried about the Tracer…. /glares at the resin curingS’posed to be hardened by now, but it’s still elastic… Worst case scenario, I won’t have a blade. XD;; Wheee!

I know this goes around a lot, but I see it all too often, and frankly sometimes it just jerks my gherkin. People - there’s a reason some artists don’t like putting their stuff online. And there’s a reason why some artists put obnoxious watermarks on their illustrations. I try not to, but sometimes I think I should… How to solve this? Firstly, don’t modify the artists’ work! it’s terribly disrespectful… Oh, and the other big thing - Source the art. [I’m pointing this to a particular tag because it’s where I see my stuff mostly get used in…] Now I’m going to go back to work…

Dark Souls: Progress! Mask elements are done, and the molds for the gold tracer, The mask needs 24 hours of drying, then I can sand, paint, and lacquer it up… make it so shiny and smooooth! XD The blades mold’ll have to cure for maybe two or three days before I can pour in the resin… with how hot it’s been lately maybe I’ll be able to cast them before the week is over! Yeeee hawwww…. Posting more progress as I get them done! :DAlso thank you all for your kind words! To answer some of the questions I have been getting… 1:) Yes, I will be sitting at the Artists Alley @ Anime Next 2013 dressed as Ciaran. 2:) No, I am not part of any Dark Souls cosplay group. 3:) Yes, I am pretty sure I can look the part… I’m tiny. [5’2’ baybee!] 4:) Yes, I am going to learn a little sword dancing. Channeling my inner-Arya… :D
